Who's behind it
The school that Karina Reyes built over fifteen years in Hurlingham.
A University English Teacher with two M.A. degrees from the United Kingdom (Churchill House, Ramsgate and Bloomsbury International, London), Karina founded Saint Mary in 2011 with a simple idea: bring British methodological rigor to Buenos Aires's western suburbs without losing local warmth.
Fifteen years on, Saint Mary is the only institute in Hurlingham with official representation from Hilderstone College, takes students to Kent twice a year since 2012, and keeps a promise it made from day one: small groups, teachers who stay long-term, and genuine follow-up of every student.

Since April 2026, Saint Mary School is the only institute in Hurlingham recognized as an official representative of Hilderstone College (Broadstairs, Kent · United Kingdom). This adds a strategic partnership with one of the oldest and most respected British centres in English-as-a-second-language teaching.
The partnership joins our long-standing relationship with Churchill House (Ramsgate), partner of our immersion programmes for over a decade. The Hilderstone alliance expands the courses, visiting faculty, and international certifications we can offer to Argentine students.

The Saint Mary method
How students learn English here.
It's not an English course with a textbook and a teacher. It's a three-step process where each student finds their level, develops their voice, and ends with something concrete in hand: an exam, an interview ready, a trip, a certificate for school or work.

Real British English
Small groups, teachers who stay.
No more than eight students per group. Teachers trained in British methodology who stay with you for the whole year (no rotation). Original materials, never photocopies. English you practise, not English you translate.

Every student leaves with something in hand.
A Cambridge exam, an interview ready, a Kent immersion, a certified level for a bilingual school. The question is always the same: what do you walk away with?
